Congrats on your blog. I wish I had this camping list 2 weeks ago. We went camping on Hartwell Lake in Anderson, SC with Luke’s home school association. I could have e-mailed it to the group! Oh well, I did it the old fashion way, and just wrote a list. Fortunately, we did not forget much! And thank goodness a small store was close by.
Think for me toilet paper is more of a “have to have”
Haha! In most cases yes but many people go camping at campsites that have bathrooms so in that case you may not need to bring any. Of course, it’s probably good to have a roll in case they run out!

That’s a great checklist. I’ll have to print it out and tape it to the top of our camping bins! A perfect way to remind ourselves what we need since we’re always forgetting something!

I wish I saw this list before I went camping for the first time with the family up at Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin. One thing I noticed you forgot was sun screen and sun glasses! It was VERY SUNNY and in the upper 80s this weekend, and I still burnt a bit (guess I need to step it up to SPF 30 next time). Idk if you like to lay out with a good novel while camping, but I came across these polarized reading sunglasses since I sometimes get a headache when reading out by the pool, and these prevented them!
