Congrats on your blog. I wish I had this camping list 2 weeks ago. We went camping on Hartwell Lake in Anderson, SC with Luke’s home school association. I could have e-mailed it to the group! Oh well, I did it the old fashion way, and just wrote a list. Fortunately, we did not forget much! And thank goodness a small store was close by.

Think for me toilet paper is more of a “have to have”

Haha! In most cases yes but many people go camping at campsites that have bathrooms so in that case you may not need to bring any. Of course, it’s probably good to have a roll in case they run out!

Thanks for your comment on my Blissfully Domestic article!

That’s a great checklist. I’ll have to print it out and tape it to the top of our camping bins! A perfect way to remind ourselves what we need since we’re always forgetting something!

Great list!
I see that camp chairs and guidebooks are very important on your list.

I would have missed many items if not for your list!

Thank you!!!!

I tried clicking on the link, but it said it is invalid. Is this still available? We are going camping this weekend. Thanks.

Could you try it again, perhaps on a different browser? It’s still an active link. Here’s the direct link to the PDF if that helps: http://www.adventuroo.com/wp-content/themes/thesis_151/custom/images/checklists/adv_camp_checklist.pdf. Let me know if you still have issues downloading it!

What a great piece! An outdoors holiday can be such fun but I speak from personal experience when I say that it can go very wrong if you forget important bits of camping equipment!

Thanks for the extra link in the reply above. The original link didn’t work for me either.
I’ll let you know, after I go camping in the next few weeks, if there’s anything I’d like to add to the list.

Great family camping list. I am a Girl Scout Consultant and go camping with girls all the time and we have a special list just for them. But I will use yours for our family. Thanks a lot.

What a great looking camping list you have there – well presented and great for kids. We’ve produced a range of camping checklists for different types of camping trips, not just for kids.

The link worked fine for me though it took a while to load the first time. Also, great idea from Ben to laminate it.

That is really helpful. This will help us to organize and not forgot anything for our coming camping. I remember when we first camp, there are things we forgot like shampoo. Thanks for sharing this checklist.
