I’m Melissa. Most people call me Mel. I’m a mama to two boys and a lover of all things outdoors. I'm a marketer who hearts good grammar. I also love Twitter, my Mac and all things techy.
This is Daddy Roo. We met in 1995, got married in 2000 and had Big Roo seven years later. Yeah, we like to take our time. Daddy Roo plays soccer, loves cooking more than I do and takes sarcasm to a level few people can. He’s awesome.
Big Roo is our 5-year-old ball of energy. He’s all boy except for the pink bear he carries around. I embrace the contradiction. He’s already a fan of hiking and camping.
The youngest of the Roo family. He loves eating kiwis, chasing his brother and swinging in our backyard. He also loves attacking his brother with a squeal of laughter.

I love it! And to be honest, you don’t really look all that different. I have to admit, I have some similar pictures with long (permed, in my case) hair and some furry caterpillars on top of my eyes. It actually makes me appreciate my aged look all the more!

I think I have an old school picture from 2000 as well, only it was the year I met my husband. My comments would be more along the lines of…look how thin I was.

I love these photos, especially the current day photo. You two look just as happy and in love. It’s amazing how our love for our spouses shifts and changes as our family expands. The love is still there and it’s still strong. Happy anniversary!

Thanks for stopping by Organzied Chaos! If you really like pumpkin (as I do), I would add a little more pumpkin spice to the cookies, just a little! Also, I am making another receipe this weekend with pumpkin…they’re called Pilgram Pies…imagine a chocolate whoopie pie, and then change the flavors to pumpkin with cream cheese filling!! I’ll share next week, I promise!!
