I’m Melissa. Most people call me Mel. I’m a mama to two boys and a lover of all things outdoors. I'm a marketer who hearts good grammar. I also love Twitter, my Mac and all things techy.
This is Daddy Roo. We met in 1995, got married in 2000 and had Big Roo seven years later. Yeah, we like to take our time. Daddy Roo plays soccer, loves cooking more than I do and takes sarcasm to a level few people can. He’s awesome.
Big Roo is our 4-year-old ball of energy. He’s all boy except for the pink bear he carries around. I embrace the contradiction. He’s already a fan of hiking and camping.
The youngest of the Roo family. He loves eating kiwis, chasing his brother and swinging in our backyard. He also loves attacking his brother with a squeal of laughter.

Okay, I’m so far out of baby mode that I didn’t know what poop face was. I thought maybe he had poop ON his face. Then I realized exactly what face it was. And I laughed. I hope this stays archived until he at least has his first girlfriend.
I was actually thinking of eventually compiling a “Little Roo’s First Girlfriend- GO HERE” page and then putting all the embarrassing pictures and posts on there. That way she won’t have to look far to laugh.

Oh gawd. I was just looking at my daughter’s poop face photo from just weeks old. She still makes almost the same face. Pshht, and my husband scolded me for photographing it. Treasure!
