Hey mamas, moms, mothers and mums,

You need a night off. Come on, you know you do. Why don’t you join me and other Triangle moms next Thursday, May 6 for National Mom’s Nite Out?

It’s just $20. While I thought that price was just to eat and mingle it turns out you get a LOT more such as:

National Mom's Nite Out: the Ultimate Celebration of Motherhood

  • Social Media Avatar Photo Shoot with Shallyse Gastelum:  Every Mom in attendance is invited to have a complimentary photo taken to be used for her social media communities, such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and more.
  • Pampering Station sponsored by Jami Cruikshank, Mary Kay Consultant:  Jami Cruikshank, Mary Kay consultant, will bring colleagues with her to provide stations for mini-services, will give each Mom mini satin hands sets, which include night emollient cream, hand cream and a scrub.
  • Decadent Desserts and Wine Tasting:  Catering and cash bar hosted by the Embassy Suites, Cary, and special wine tasting for all attendees donated by local wine distributor/winery.

Oh and did I mention there would be PRIZES?

  • Green Pea Baby:  Ergo Baby Carrier ($105 value), Ergo Backpack, Ergo Front Pouch, Baby Caton Carrier ($65.99 value)  JJCole Items ($ value)
  • Scandinavian Child:  1 Beaba Babycook + Babycook Book ($185 value), 1 lillebaby EveryWear Carrier ($100 value), 1 Svan Bouncer ($120 value)

You only have until Monday to sign up, so click here and join us! If you aren’t in the Triangle area, then check here for an event near you.

This will be my FIRST time at the nationwide Mom’s Nite Out so I hope to make lots of new friends. (Random: I just had to edit my post because I had written “night” instead of “nite” all throughout it. The MNO badge says “nite” which makes me cringe, much like the words “rural” and things like “kountry kitchen” do. I digress.)

Alright homies, who’s coming?

I heart you tremendously for saying “homies”. And I also cringe with NITE but what can you do?

Oh, I wish I could go! SO bummed. Can’t wait to read everyone’s posts about it.

And, I’m totally with you on the “kountry kitchen” thing. Drives me crazy! Saw a sign the other day that was something like “kidz dance akademy.” Argh!

Oh that’s the worst… when kid things are misspelled. They’ll think it’s really spelled that way. Grr.
