Ethan Reese Culbertson entered this world on February 23 at 7:57 am… which is big brother Noah’s (Big Roo) third birthday! At 38 weeks along, he weighed in at 6 lbs. 9 oz and was 20 inches long.
We’re home now and resting wonderfully (well, at nights are another story!). I’ll post his birth story in a few days but for now I’m savoring every little moment I can with this cutie.

I’m Melissa. Most people call me Mel. I’m a mama to two boys and a lover of all things outdoors. I'm a marketing ninja who hearts good grammar. I also love Twitter, my Mac and all things techy.
This is Daddy Roo. We met in 1995, got married in 2000 and had Big Roo seven years later. Yeah, we like to take our time. Daddy Roo plays soccer, loves cooking more than I do and takes sarcasm to a level few people can. He’s awesome.
Big Roo is our 3-year-old ball of energy. He’s all boy except for the pink bear he carries around. I embrace the contradiction. He’s already a fan of hiking and camping.
The youngest of the Roo family. He’s already been on two hikes and loves gazing up at the trees from the comfort of his Baby Bjorn.
