I’m Melissa. Most people call me Mel. I’m a mama to two boys and a lover of all things outdoors. I'm a marketer who hearts good grammar. I also love Twitter, my Mac and all things techy.
This is Daddy Roo. We met in 1995, got married in 2000 and had Big Roo seven years later. Yeah, we like to take our time. Daddy Roo plays soccer, loves cooking more than I do and takes sarcasm to a level few people can. He’s awesome.
Big Roo is our 4-year-old ball of energy. He’s all boy except for the pink bear he carries around. I embrace the contradiction. He’s already a fan of hiking and camping.
The youngest of the Roo family. He loves eating kiwis, chasing his brother and swinging in our backyard. He also loves attacking his brother with a squeal of laughter.

My kiddo loves Lightening and Mater & would most certainly duplicate this image if there were snow in our neck of the woods. I love it!

My kids love blasting their toy cars and trucks through the snow. I usually end up finding a bunch of the smaller ones the first time I go to cut the grass each spring!
Cars in the snow, yep, that’s about all we did for the past week. Little boys and their cars- is it like in their genes?
