Dear Snow,
I’m so over you right now. Why do you keep screwing up all my plans? Did I do anything to tick you off?
Two weekends ago, you dumped over 5 inches of yourself all over my town and forced my baby shower to be postponed.
Last weekend, you tried to scare me by showing up the morning of my baby shower’s make-up day. You must have noticed the dirty looks I gave you through the window because you gave up and stopped. And although the baby shower finally happened, you blanketed Northern Virginia so bad that one of my sisters (and co-shower planner by the way) couldn’t attend. Not to mention the fact that my Mom, Dad and Step-Mom couldn’t get here for various reasons.
And now this weekend too? Here’s what you showed up with this morning.
And what did this do to my plans? Well, you’ve postponed Big Roo’s sibling class at the hospital until February 27. Don’t you know it’s likely Little Roo could be here by then? On top of that, Big Roo’s 3 year photo shoot, which was going to be outside, was pushed until Valentine’s Day. Just don’t show up then, okay?
Don’t you know I’m pregnant and get annoyed VERY easily? With Little Roo due March 8, I’m also a ticking time bomb so I’d appreciate it if you’d stay away until after he’s born. I can’t keep pushing all these activities into the future ya know.
Big Roo’s birthday party is next weekend. I’m requesting sun and warmth, which means YOU ARE NOT INVITED.

Okay, your reasons for hating the snow are far more valid than mine but I am SO over it as well. Our soggy yard has made it impossible to do anything outside & I am sick of having cabin fever!!
We have a ton of snow. But it really has not messed with major plans. But keeping my front hall floors clean is another story.
